I hope we get him done with £12m-£13m which could be considered a fair price.

His head is definately turned and if we push just a little bit he will be ours. But as everyone is saying - we need 2-3 players more.

Cabaye is a fighting for the "4th place trophy" player. Useful to have but won't improve us that much.

Not wildly enthused, I'd dreamt up a bigger, tougher, more intimidating presence for our midfield.

Don't think that matters. None of them are wimps. All strike a balance between attack and defence. Would probably require a slight tactical change to accommodate all 3 but I think it'd work. Rotate Jack in there against less physical sides until he finds his mojo again.

If we sign Pogba/Kondogbia also then that should settle our midfield for the season. I never expected a star signing for our midfield anyway, so i dont mind Cabaye or anyone similar.

Yeah. United accepted the 80m bid for Ronaldo. That's shut me up. 😆

Cazorla joined us because Malaga were near bankrupt at the time. Of course it happens but the dynamic is different when two premier league clubs trade.

I do think 10m is low but I don't think Pardew needs to get all hissy about it. We've set our stall out.

Reminds me of the time when Owen Coyle complained that our £5m bid for Cahill was an insult only to sell him for £7m six months later.

We just got beaten on the weekend, a crisis is a CL KO/thrashing at home by spurs away, there are no signs of any imient signings and big chance we would go without making a signing this whole window.

Oh so your real question is would we accept the first bid if the bidder was another English team? You should have said that in the first place.

RVP went for 25 million. Straight up. Our board were more than happy to sell.

Cahill went for 7m quid for Chelsea's first bid. Thanks for bringing that up.

Ramsey = 1.78m
Arteta = 1.76m
Cabaye = 1.73m
Wilshere = 1.7m

I bet there's a linear relationship between our team's average height and our success, would be cool to work that out.
