Should have upgraded him years ago and been done with it.
On that note, I like the rumours about Benedikt Höwedes that are doing the rounds on social networks right now. He would make a fine backup at centreback and he's probably better than all the leftbacks we have. Signing him would be a nice way to straighten out the defence.
