Diaby will start in Arteta's place quite a bit I reckon - if he can stay fit. Which seems improbable. So, in theory I think Diaby would start quite a bit in Arteta's role. 🙂

Walcott underwent surgery even before Falcao's injury, but Falcao is now back playing.

Khedira has also been playing since May and there were only 2 months between his surgery and Theo's surgery.

Will largely depend on the surgeon and the kind of surgery. There's no universal way of repairing a cruciate.

I'd rather theo got the time and care to supoort his recovery than rushing back for the sake of it. He is just stepping into a career while those two are heading through their peak years.

I'd be concerned about any team managed by Pulis, even at home, particularly given the potential composition of our back four.

My point is more that the importance of the CL qualifiers is far greater than one PL game. It's not just a formality, we still have to qualify for the group stages.

I know it was easy last year, but I'm always worried about games of this importance. Away to Besiktas with Monreal and and inexperienced Chambers is pretty frightening.

Appalling management from Wenger if we're reduced to that. Monreal is never a center half and Chambers has limited experience in the position. We need to sign a new CB ASAP.
