Poor Alex. He would have started left wing, too, I reckon.
From a selfish point of view, I just hope he gets a full pre-season. He's about ready to take the League by storm.
Walked off so I'd imagine it's not too severe (i.e. ruptured).
You never really know I guess. Walcott looked pretty comfortable celebrating and rubbing it in with the Spurs fans and didn't look to be in too severe pain, then we got that shocking news the next day.

Yeah but he doesn't play for Arsenal.

i hope so, but you can walk on a torn ACL.
Bugger. Feel for the kid and it's quite possibly a big setback for us as well.
We should have reliable news based on a proper medical assessment by this evening, I hope.
He wasn't on crutches as he left the stadium, not sure what that tells us.

Tis a sign that he can walk unaided
He was limping more than walking, looked gutted when he was in the car, doesnt look good.
Yeah, he really looks down. Sad for him. I really hope he's ready to start next season - to me (signings apart) he's our best bet for a level up (Aaron style). He really has everything, and particularly the kind of stuff we miss.
Upto 3 weeks per Sky

Good, not serious then.
Bust out the placenta and oxygen tent, might get a runout in the WC after all.
Judging by our previous history i''m not so confident about that 3 weeks timeline.
YES. Thank god. He's gonna kill it next year.

Thankfully, this evaluation is not given by the Arsenal medical team.
Don't know what to make of "Sky sources" though
Might've been nicer from a (ruthless) Arsenal perspective if he was ruled out for a month. England send him home and he's not rushing back and risking further damage. Walcott's not going to be ready at the start of the season. Definitely need Chamberlain fully fit.
Kind of what i am thinking from a selfish point of view but i understand how important it is for him, as a footballer, to go to a World Cup in Brazil so i hope he recovers.
10 days to 3 weeks. FFS WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO US!!!?
