Hard to begrudge any player this though.

Even with my Arsenal hat on, I hope he makes it. Would be a great experience for him.

Agreed. Incredibly selfish to want him out of the WC injured even It's in the interests of Arsenal. These players have dreams too.

Not to mention, experiences like the WC aid a young player's confidence development immensely.

Chambo's young, I think missing the WC is a lot more devastating when you're Theo's age and at the height of your powers.

That was posted before any real information on his injury had surfaced. I'm still not happy though, the only thing standing between Chamberlain and superstardom is injuries.

it'd better be just a coupla months. Sounds more like he'd be ok in 2 weeks, play at the WC, get slaughtered and come back only in the second half of next season. Would be so fuckin typical.

He tore his mcl in pre season 2 of those injuries is terrible 3 is career over. And he's just done it again only this time it's not a full tear so he's at 1.5 and they will rush him back. A knock to the outside of his knee at the wc and he'll be in serious trouble.
