Surely between Akpom, Sanago, Park and Bendtner we can cover for any potential loss of Giroud, up until January at least. None of these free guys are any better anyway. They'd just be liabilities preventing us from offering their wages for better players.

Doesn't that have more to do with the public backlash against him skipping his military service? He was on loan in Spain last season so it can't be related to his club situation.

There seems to be something really iffy about that deal. I don't know if it was the deal itself or something that has come out afterwards, but there has to be something that made Wenger go against him for whatever reason.

marica has like 40 goals in 200 matches for stuttgart and schalke. this guy is shit.
