To be fair, Szczesny has over 100 appearances for Arsenal, is Roma's undisputed Number 1 this season and has 25 caps for Poland at 25 years of age - he was every bit as good as he looked when he was 16 for our youth sides. It's just, well, we have Petr Cech.
And Virginia is indeed the Portuguese kid we signed in the summer. He came with a big reputation - done very well for the Portuguese U17 side and was signed by us because we played Sporting in a youth competition somewhere and he was extraordinary.
I'm surprised we won the competition because we used a very young team out there. 14 and 15 year olds all over the place in an U17 tournament. Impressive stuff.
