Whilst Mavropanos went out on the tour, he has been recovering from an injury. I think it's the one he picked up against Burnely in the final game. I believe he's back in full training now though.

The third with his weaker left foot is a beauty. The pass to Azeez, another huge talent, to put him through at the end is decent too.

Very interested to see how Balogun does in the U23s this season. Eddie will have to keep an eye out behind him at this rate.

I would imagine if he's up to it, the "transition team" will be all over getting him a loan.

I thought he might need a season playing U23, but the way he's mugging off grown men there, perhaps he's ready to go out and test himself.

I don't think so. We should sell our young players if clubs are willing to pay money for them. Let's be real. Other than Cole and Wilshere, we haven't brought through any others who were good enough to be first team starters. We also aren't going to forgo spending big money in positions where the likes Saka, Amaechi, Nketiah, Willock, Nelson are looking to break through. Their best bet will be proving their worth if and when the injuries pile up and perhaps in an unfamiliar position like AMN. We've just brought in Martinelli, Ceballos and possible Pepe who will only push those players further down the pecking order.
