IMO a recall for the right reasons can do well both ways.
Not only does Nelson potentially provide a wide option but IMO he'll also benefit as much under Emery as he would under Naglesmann - particularly as he isn't an established starting player as yet.
The only question is in regards to what position & role Emery sees his in.

Nope it was the decision to give all playing time to jokers like Ox instead of giving him at least a look into the first team. His injury didn't help either of course but it's Wenger's pet projects that killed his Arsenal career

It does make you wonder what AMN’s gameplan is. He is a player who could be anything he wants on this team. He’s choosing to unseat Mkhitaryan and hold off Nelson. And that’s assuming no further entries at right midfield. Seems a risky strategy.

I would’ve thought right back would make more sense. Emery has clearly made fullback a priority position. This team could benefit from being able to rotate as Tottenham has done in recent years to great effect. Why not fight it out with Bellerin? He’d also probably get more of the ball from there and bolster his development.

His decisioning feels short-termist.

He got a look in and then spent a year out injured, half a year on loan following the injury and then didn't sign the contract on offer, so was sold.

I’m guessing it’s not his decision, it’s probably something Emery and the coaches are encouraging. I don’t think this is a Walcott scenario.

I'd be surprised if our injury record didn't put him off aswell. I'd have left. He was injured every 2 minutes along with ox, Ramsey and Jack. Your health is your job as a footballer no way I'd have been going near arsenal.
