Mate, it's a general statement. Based on their talent and potential they have shown at a relatively high level, they have to be considered as some of the top teenage prospects around. I don't see why such an assertion is deemed so controversial by you. Obviously it's my opinion as well, of course. And no it's not bias, there aren't many players in Nelson and Douzi's age group who have performed with as much conviction at the level they have recently (PL, BuLi). Hence why they are among the top teenage prospects around.

As for those players you've listed, yeah sure they can also be considered in that bracket (although they haven't really shown it at the highest level like Nelson and Guendouzi have), so I don't see why you've even had to list them. Are you saying they're better than our boys? Not sure what you're getting at really.

I also rate both to be amongst the top teenage prospects.
To me, this is not the same as "2 of the best" hence the bias comment.
I listed those players as a reason why i thought the above.

It's a value judgement and varies from league to league. There's no universal definition of an assist (which makes it a bit of a useless stat on a micro scale). I don't think Premier League counts rebounds from either the keeper or the posts as an assist. At least they didn't used to. Bundesliga might differ but I can't find anything when I google, which makes me think they don't keep any official count.

Tone is right though; Nelson's teammates know who made that goal happen and so do the Hoffenheim fans. Brilliant stuff from the lad.

It's correct that Premier League doesn't count rebounds. Neither does the Bundesliga, but yeah, Tone is right. Wish we would loan Nketiah out to a club where he got to play as well.

I have no idea why he's still here to be honest. He's just wasting time with the U23 right now. Maybe there was too much managerial turmoil in the summer with both Emery and Ljungberg and Per coming in, but it didn't stop us from finding a loan for Reiss Nelson.

James Maddison is one of the best players in England this season, Agirretxe was the best striker in Spain couple years back. Looking at any player's form rarely tells you lots about the quality of the league

Agree with your point generally though, the Bundesliga is in a bit of a slump at the moment. Lots of poor investment and shit managers ruining things everywhere, the quality of the players however is there. Stuttgart are dead last in the league yet they have lots of highly talented players like Pavard, Ascacibar or Maffeo who I'd sign without hesitation even for Arsenal. Nelson looking great has less do with the quality of the league and everything with his own quality urgency and enthusiasm on the pitch.

Why? We need a CB as much as we need an LB. Although he may not be that typical physical beast many want in a central defender.

despite what may be said about Mustafi & co, we aren't as desperate for a CB as we are for a LB. Monreal's old and Kola's a crock. AMN isn't a dedicated LB and none of our u-23 LB seem to be any good.
