Pato is too injury prone and won't leave the comfort zone of the Brazilian league 6 months before a WC.

At the moment we are really missing an Eduardo.

Who remembers how much damage Eduardo did to the opposition in Dec and Jan of the 2007/2008 season? He was unplayable at times.

If we can sign a similar player then I would say we are favourites for the league.

I remember the second goal he scored against Everton in particular. Have you seen Jagielka sell himself like that since then? Eduardo turned him inside out. Literally ran in a ring around him. He could have been an outstanding player.

He was slow and weak. He was fine playing off Adebayor, don't think he'd be of much use as #9 in the current team. Could be wrong.

Not saying he could do anything in our current setup, but i loved the way Eduardo played until that oaf broke him.

That is your opinion, I'm very comfortable with mine. I might change my mind if u come up with examples of top PL strikers who are slow and short.

First thing, he wasn't slow. Wasn't exactly theo, but he wasn't Giroud either. He was quick and sharp off the first 10 yards before that injury, and this was what helped him get most of his goals with us.

Secondly, his positioning in the box and finishing were top class. Very good striker.

Hernandez is a better player than Eduardo was, nobody would be happy with him as first choice #9 for us.

Very similar type of player, Hernandez much quicker, better first season in the Premier League, etc, etc.

Eduardo was a better technician though.
