well you're absolutely right, rex. it's a recipe for dressing room poison, esp when benzema's sort of a prima donna to begin with.
y va, thing is, i don't see buying a 35m striker as buying our way out of a problem. i see it as lifting ourselves further out of the lack of spending hole we've dug ourselves into over the last 9 yrs. remember, our net transfer spend is barely even positive over that period (if it even is positive).
