We are really suffering from a lack of a good alternative to Giroud. He's a good player in the right environment but games like today are where his flaws are there for all to see. Put Suarez in his place and we come out of this with a draw. It's the top class strikers and their ability to produce something from nothing when the midfielders have off days (our attacking trio were apalling today) that gets you points in these games. Giroud doesn't have that in him. He's capable on the end of a move of producing a deft finish but if he isn't getting the service he's rubbish. And my word it's a horror show whenever he gets on the ball and has space ahead of him. He may as well pop it off to the nearest opposition shirt! Oh wait, he does. He has to stop coming deep to collect the ball also. Doing it today with the way Caz, Ozil and Ramsey was playing killed us. What's the point in a striker like him when he's never in the fucking area you want him?
Anyway, Wenger has to go out in January and get a striker. Is there anyone that doesn't feel that? Bendtner is fucking useless. I do fear Wenger will use Walcott and Podolski back as an excuse though.
Speaking of Walcott, he's critical. Can't come back soon enough.
