No he doesn't, if he did we'd have a squad full of really expensive recognised big name players.
He buys like a frugal old man, quality at the right price, and when time runs out he looks for slightly worn second hand spare parts.

I always get really fed up of it on the last week, don't want to be guessing anymore I want to know who we're signing.

When is the quote from? Can't be recent because we've already gone into the new season with only the number of players we have, less than last season, and dropped a banker 3 points at home. Unless the season somehow "starts now" like the transfer window.

The "season" like "success" or "super quality" is defined in whatever way Wenger chooses to define it.

Na, it would be stupid to sell him. He's a decent player to have in a squad. We're not short on money, nor are we likely to buy many players so it doesn't make sense to sell.

What is wrong with Wenger?

Podolski will only leave if we sign a player like Di Maria and a striker because he won't see much playing time then. I am sure that will harm his chances of going to the World Cup, it will make sense for him to move. Some rumours suggest it could be a loan for him to get regular playing time.

He is already second choice on the left and if Di Maria and a striker come in, he will be way down in the pecking order.

The Podolski leaving rumours are about as probable as Di Maria's. If you chose to believe the rumour of him leaving, I will chose to believe the rumour of him buying a replacement.

There wouldn't be a replacement bought. Di Maria would "kill" Chamberlain who will be "like a new signing" in the January window. Much more likely Bendtner returns.

Chamberlain is considered a midfielder, Wenger has used him there in pre-season and also said so in his conference when talking of midfielders.

So even though he's said we're short on numbers he'll sell Podolski, and not replace him, even though he knows Chamberlain is out for at least two months if not more?

Except he's played virtually all his games for us on the left of the front 3, including going into this season as first choice in that position where he started the first game.
