Kosh is not too far from this. He just needs the composure. That's the main thing I see in that video. Adams doesn't just own the ball, he owns himself, never really loses control.

He's not a player to lift a teams performance. But put him in a good team and he'll defend well, link up and score goals.

I really like Podolski. At times he's not been as good as he should be, but he's definitely a victim of the complete lack of a plan and execution going on around him. Use him properly and I think he has it in him to be incredibly effective.

Feel the same way about Cazorla. They're good and would be great alongside good or great players. Put Poldi in a team with RVP and Fabregas and he'd be scoring for fun

Podolski is abit of Arshavin for me. Capable of goals and assists at times, but completely anonymous most of the match. I do think it isn't his fault though, he is played out of position. You can see he is quite awkward as a LM

That's ignoring his defensive work. He gets up and down the pitch very well.

Can't believe he was subbed against City instead of Walcott.

I have seen him strolling about far too many times. Pulls out of challenges easily too.

For me, Podolski offers pretty much what I want from a wide forward. We DO need someone on the other flank though who gets involved in our general play more and offers more creativity. AOC looks like he can become that player, but he is still too inconsistent to impose himself on the game throughout.

It doesn't help that our options at CF have poor link up play too. I don't think Poldi or Giroud are bad but they're players that will do well with better players around them, not so much playing with each other.

You can see the different when he plays for germany, he was so miuch better linking up with Klose than with Gomez.

There has been a clear improvement in his defensive work since the start of the season (imo).

Considering its his first season he's done pretty well, contributed a good number of goals and assists. Can tend to drift out of games but he isn't someone who orchestrate games so he does need service to be effective.
