Eh, come to expect shocking misses and play from Gervinho.

Rated Podolski, and especially his finishing, better than his miss a few months back.

Podolski is a great character and a top player. There's plenty more to come from him as well.

Yeah, Wenger made Gervinho miss from two yards before. The force is strong in him.

It's a nice volley but a baby could have scored in that situation. Open goal and no keeper anywhere near him. Didn't stop him from missing against Bradford, mind.

The technique used wasn't easy. He could have easily missed tbf. Can't believe he didn't take it with the other foot.

Thats the problem with him, he is too hit and miss.

"Gervinho Amazing Goal". Nothing at all misleading about that title.

It is quite an amazing goal, I don't think it's that far behind Podolski's and Gibbs' volleys this year. Sure there's no keeper but the target area to aim at is still small, the incoming ball was travelling much faster than either of Giroud's assists and the technique is superb.

Whats amazing is that it was gervinho who scored it.

Reminds me of little bit exceptional Eduardo volley in the FA Cup a few years ago. Of course that was in another league.

I agree with otfgoon tbh. We can't rule out that it was just a standard Gervinho first touch.
