If you ignore the goals and the red card this was my favourite moment against Tottenham:

Wonderful little skill by Jack. It turns the direction of play around in the fraction of a second. He basically creates a chance out of nothing.

but also shows he's got room to grow. He should have followed the through ball to be available for the cutback.

He certainly is improving as you can see has picked up the "Diaby turn". Shame he hasn't picked up "Xabi's turn" yet, as it looks so simple but is very effective in the midfield and i remember Cesc also added it to his game after the World Cup

not sure why you'd call a Cruyff turn a "Diaby turn" or what is basically a simple turn repeated twenty billion times a Xavi turn.

tbf, every player has his favourite turn. A cruyff turn is fairly unusual for Jack.

The one player who seems to change his turns all the time is Theo. Probably because he has no idea how to replicate them consistently.

You seem to mistakenly think i was referring to the turn posted by Klaus when in fact i am talking about the way Diaby receives some passes by sometimes allowing the ball to go across his body without touching it, confusing the tackler with his body shape. I noticed Jack doing it on several occasions during the sp**s match and that's what came to mind.

I would probably not argue with you if you objected to me calling it a Diaby turn as other players such as Zidanne did it as well and Wilshere already has several similar turns in his locker but for you to call it a Cruyff turn?

As to not recognizing the genius of simplicity in Xavi's turn, i have no words!

Didn't really read this the last time round. Yes, I did object to calling it a Diaby turn, not just because others do it as well, but also because Diaby plays about 10 matches a season- having a turn named after him sounds a bit gratuitous.

The rest I won't get into cos really it'll just be nitpicking.

diaby does do this a lot, to great effect. i'll freak out cos it looks like he's receiving the ball under pressure in a dangerous area, and then all of a sudden, the pressure's gone and diaby's turned upfield.

Bandy, i used Diaby as an example because they must have trained together and like Kami says that turn is something i have come to associate with him. Don't get me wrong, i want him gone but at least let him teach our youngsters his skills while he is still here
