Well there's partly that but most of all he thrives on movement. I think he's being perceived as slow partly because our attack is too static. There was a situation against Sunderland where he tried to find someone to give the ball to but all three forwards just stood and watched. Finally he had to turn around and just lay off the ball to someone else.
We have a lot of those dead moments nowadays. It was the same in a number of games last season. We talk about the need for creativity, but there's no point in having a player who's capable of picking a pass if no one's willing to make the run.
