π It'd be challenging to praise Diaby to the extremes to which you've slated him during the past weeks Klaus. Obviously a few of his supporters are going to have their day in the sun after weeks of seeing him described as 'not even a footballer' and so on.
To be honest, a lot of us were carrying on about what an upgrade Εahin would be on Diaby, and he may yet prove to be a better player in this league, but there was zero evidence to suggest it when they met on the park yesterday.
It'll be interesting to see if Diaby can stay fit and produce this sort of performance on a regular basis, one in which he reads the game, wins the ball, rarely uses it poorly, and contributes something going forward. He was pretty average last week against Stoke so it's hardly a given.
