We have a young, naive and inexperienced squad. The main difference is probably there, when it comes to tactical awareness, focus and so forth. We also have some crap players but that is for another debate... Our players WILL get better, it is just that it´s been 6 effin years and we are all getting impatient.
You look at all those sides you mention you will see that none of them is filled with youngsters such as our current squad. All of those teams, probably bar the current Barcelona side, are/were comfortable in different situations both attacking and defending.
Ferguson has adapted his approach to get the best out of each of his teams. Mourinho does so as well. Can´t really say the same for Wenger.
