8 minutes of goosebumps.
Meh.
Ozil is better, is what they say.

I've been dipping in and out of this for hours, it's a great watch. Like listening to songs that take you back to hearing/ seeing them for the first time, the goals all take me back to where I as when I saw (or didn't) those games. Proper recent-nostalgia rush.
I loved Dennis. They don't make them like that anymore.
That goal against Newcastle where he made Dabisas famous is the best goal I have ever seen. I have not even seen anyone even attempt that either before or after. It just sums Bergkamp up perfectly; sublime technique, outstanding creativity, strength, and ice cool when it matters.
I'd really love to know how those that think Ozil is a genius feel his game and style compare to Bergkamp's?
He is basically Bergkamp without the goals. 🙂 When Bergkamp slowed down and became a lot more of a play maker than a goal scorer, their games are very similar, and they played the same position on the pitch. I feel Özil is more mobile and is better at creating space for his team mates.
Özil is more mobile but his vision or and his execution isn't on Bergkamp's level imo, and I'm usually very critical of the nostalgia that comes with players who had their peak long ago. Much better goalscorer too obviously.
Bergkamp's vision/ execution is second only to Laudrup's.
Was welling up watching that Bergkamp video, what an amazingly graceful player he was, we were so lucky to have him.

Laudrup, Bergkamp and Zidane. There is not a player of that ilk anymore.
I think Özil is the closest thing to those guys in modern football. He's from the same school where technical superiority, vision and speed of thought are the only things that really matter.

Iniesta as well. Can't think of anyone else - Goetze is in the same mould but not at that level.
Yeah, Götze is the one I think will grow into that bracket. He might have to leave the fuckwits at Bayern first though.
Özil needs to start dominating games like the FA Cup final with much more regularity to be mentioned in the same breath as those. Iniesta lacks end product.
Ozil will never be widely recognised in that bracket until he dominates a Champions League knockout tie against a European giant: Real, Barca, Bayern.
If that day comes, I think all doubters will be swayed.

Ozil isn't Bergkamp lite, he's Hleb premium.
What a ridiculous thing to say.

Have you ever considered a job working for a clickbait site? You could just sell them their headlines.
