Never said it was a bad trait. Everyone else was polite (yes bar Szczesney) but Gibbs took it up a notch by asking is he could take some home, knowing full well he wasn't going to eat it.
Szczesny wasn't really disrespectful. It wasn't a meal that man cooked, it was a fruit that 50% of the population hates and 50% likes. I don't think the people who live there hide that they don't like it either.
