don't see what's wrong with that. we have probably already agreed personal terms with Suarez or are ironing out details like bonus, image rights, etc. you don't make 30, 40m pound bids without having talked to the players about what they would want.
that said, United had some baffling transfer activity this summer. their guys make Dick Law look like transfer god.
