In any case, Liverpool needed to have "considered" or "discussed" (or whatever the fuck the wording is) a transfer "in good faith" if the bid is over 40 million (regardless of who the team is) - by out-rightly rejecting our bid and talking about how they don't care how much we bid for him, are they not potentially violating that clause?
I think, the major problem here is that Liverpool can't seem to find a semi-decent replacement and that is not because of money but because nobody they spot wants to join them. Spurs might end up with a lot of money soon and their targets might clash once again, in which case, Spurs will surely benefit.
