That's about 24 hours ago. Do you really think Rogers doesn't know what the club's stance on Suarez is? Of course he knows.
As it is, there's huge mistrust between the player and the manager(club), would a player do his best for a manager(club) he doesn't trust? Don't think so. And Liverpool know this too.
Anyway, we should be seriously pursuing the Rooney deal at the same time. Pay over the odds if that's what it takes to get him. No point having an average team with loads of money in the bank.
