Don't trust Daily Mail. They are the worst of the rags and I always get the feeling that they regularly make stuff up. (unlike many others who do reporting based on flimsy and unreliable 'sources') They seem to think that we have made two bids of 30 and 35 million before, but, Liverpool have always stated that there has been one bid.

We had one of those- Wenger sold him to Man U for 23M remember, now I'm no financial genius like Wenger but even I could work out that it would have been a lot cheaper to double RvP's wages (that should have overcome any ambition worries) then to try to fork out 35M+ ratty's wages a year later......
