Diaby played a grand total of... wait for it... 17 games last season. Little look at Yennaris for those that haven't seen much of him. I've never seen the ball-playing midfielder that a few others talk about him as, just a really determined, hard-working, tough tackling player, and that's why I think he would be better suited to playing as a fullback.

I just don't understand what has happened with the Park signing. I've heard him being comparing to the Bischoff signing but Park had established himself at a decent level. He had a decent goalscoring return last season for Monaco, he's the captain of South Korea with 25 goals in 59 caps. He even looked quite lively in the Carling Cup, showed a few good touches for us and scored a cracking goal against Bolton.

We all accepted that he was never going to be a great player, but he definitely seemed like a decent squad option. There has to be something going on behind the scenes for him not to be given a chance at all when we've effectively played the season with only 1 striker. You've got to feel slightly sorry for the player...any reputation he had has been destroyed.

An Arsenal XI drew 1-1 with a Reading XI in a secret behind-closed-doors training game this morning, in which a host of first-team players featured, with many scouts specifically invited to watch.
The likes of Maraoune Chamakh, Sebastien Squillaci and Park Chu-Young, who scored for the Gunners in a 1-1 draw, all featured, with Wenger hoping to offload them in the summer, while Andre Santos, Abou Diaby, Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Yossi Benayoun, Ignasi Miquel, and Carl Jenkinson also played, in a bid to boost their fitness.

Surprised to see Ramsey and Chamberlain there. The game was a bit cloak and dagger as well not much info about it from the club.

I bet that means Ramsey or Chamberlain won't be starting the QPR game. Though an unchanged line-up would've been everyone's first guess anyway.

I'd rather it was Swansea or even a fair few others over Bolton. Good chance thy'll be in the Championship next season as well.

But I agree a loan next season would be good. Not sure if a Premier League club will take a chance though, it's unlikely.

Joking, that would actually be more than a decent place to go on loan. Reason why I mention Bolton is because Coyle would give him games. He's got the track record for it, so why mess with something that works. Really hope they stay up. We could do with a few more managers that don't hate our guts in the PL.
