Kroenke/Gazidis/Wenger out!
Anyway, it's fairly transparent what this is - another PR move by R&W. I'm actually quite impressed at how well attuned they are to what supporters are saying, but it's obvious that this is written for the fans' benefit, not the addressees. In fact, it could easily have been written better by about half the posters on this site.
The Megafon gaffe is quite funny though.

I was originally a local lad arnos grove north London for nearly 20 years before I moved to Dublin just in case that was maybe aimed at me asa.
It wasn't aimed at anyone (many posters here live further from Islington than you!). It wasn't even a criticism.
Actually, it even used the phrase 'War Chest' - that's appalling.
Wonder if this is a spoof.
We've got over bigger problems in the past for some reason this might be what was needed, don't know why but I feel we will have a better season due to this.
Also, it's a little odd that it lists the board of directors in the same order as this:
http://www.arsenal.com/the-club/corporate-info/the-arsenal-board
I'm calling spoof.
Its on the BBC website im sure they would have verified it before publishing. A letter has certainly been sent but are you sure your link is correct.
As dodgy as usmanov may seem what has kroenke done to deserve the respect of being decent as majority owner, if anything regression.
I agree with the more compelling vision for the future but in all honesty we can't compete financially with other clubs.
The language of the letter is a bit low level (but that may be down to a culture thing) but otherwise an excellent letter.
It's extremely low level. Also quite surprised that they'd need to refer to the Arsenal corporate website to know who Arsenal's directors are.

I see nothing wrong with that, quite feasible they copied the names (and hence order) off the official site to avoid spelling mistakes etc or followed protocol by listing the directors exactly in the order listed on the official site.
or it's probably the way the directors are listed in official communcation
asajoseph wrote:It's extremely low level.
yeah i was being a bit modest, it was cringe worthy in many places but the points were excellent
I don't really know, don't write officia externall communication myself, so not sure of protocol like that.
Though for what it's worth, there seems to be no formal ordering. You can find them listed in different orders in different places.
Seriously, does this thread deserve to be glued to the first page?
Who did that?
yeah well normally you'd just put to the directors Arsenal Plc, and cc:
like I said it's probably a cultural hillbilly thing, these are not refined people but who cares?
