People go on about Wenger, (and yes, he is partially culpable), but this problem ends with Stan. It's totally within his power to chastise Wenger for this shambles. At the end of the day, revenues are increasing, share prices are increasing, and there's no "end" in sight financially. As long as we continue to perform like we're performing, Stan has no reason to sack Wenger, which (in his mind) could upset the fine balance that currently exists.
