This isn't even about Wenger anymore its about a club that doesn't challenge its manager to be at the top of his game ambition wise whether he likes it or not. Even if Wenger goes if they same structure and system is in place that demands nothing more than the bare minimum then we are fucked, unless we get a manager with in built ambition to succeed.

Wenger has huge issues with a number of elements of football, especially in today's transfer market but the club's management also has problems with wanting one thing "competing for trophies" (or at least saying it) and then failing to act on it by bringing the manager to task over failing to deliver on these goals. We need to take the amount spent on transfers out of the equation as its the only thing that wenger has to hold it head above water with. We have enough money to spend so doing something average with our wage bill while there is plenty more is just failing to maximize our potential and the longer it goes on the less attractive we will be to future recruits.

If our major moves are really linked with the Bale transfer and we make them tick once it goes through, then fair play. Otherwise there is no redemption for what has been a shambles.

Negligent, slow to respond to change, baffling understanding of market forces, prone to high risk level gambling, stubborn, unable to delegate or take advice, single minded, self belief nearing bendtner levels.

Those are some of Wenger's issues. As it stands I feel totally cheated by the club this season worse than any before and I won't renew whatever happens until I see a change in a way the club is run as fans are asked to put in their pocket based on faith. Faith that the club will do the best it can with its resources. Plus on top of that I am hearing from so many and seeing with my own eyes the lack of season ticket holders so its hardly going to be impossible to get on again or go to games.

He never panics because he never sets out to build a team to compete with United's, City's or Chelsea's.
He's not required to do so either.
He looks below us and does the bare minimum to stay ahead

I really hope we sign some quality players although somewhere I know the manager and the club will disappoint.
