So in a free market, one of the ways that prices differentiate between buyers is a higher quality product. If i'm Joe Public and I'm deciding between dropping £900 on a lower tier season ticket at Arsenal and £750 on a lower tier season ticket at Chelsea, what exactly am I getting for that extra £150? Padded seats?
I think we all get that you're being quasi facetious Capi, but I also think it needs to be said that if we weren't a big club we wouldn't be charging stupid money to come see us play. There's an underlying expectation amongst fans that this club is successful (no matter how long ago that may be), and "success" is inherently defined as competing for trophies.
