The board will eventually kick him out as they have given him a mandate this year through Ivan and if he doesn't go out there and spend and compete like everyone is saying then he is no longer capable of doing his job. I doubt either the board or Wenger are eager to extend his contract without seeing his ability to compete with citeh, united, chelsea, psg, barca, bayern etc in this current football climate.
Personally I don't think he can and I think Arsene knows that, however his tendrils are deep into this club so uprooting him will cause a good amount of short term damage no matter how poor some of his technical match day management is.
Marv,
I also feel gutted for the players as they have gone into this thinking A) we will have a good squad B) we will add serious quality too it. Neither has happened and they can't be in the best of spirits to start the season and progress on from the base achievement of 4th last year, management of the club has failed to deliver on its promises and let down the fans and the staff (yet again).
