You have to feel for someone paying more for their seat than the money the club has spent on transfers this summer.
At the risk of getting shot I have to admit that I'm not all that cut up about someone paying for a seat, or with a season ticket.
I'd love to be in a situation where I could get to as many games as possible.
Anyone who's fed up with the current crew to the extent that they can't take it has the choice not to go games or to give it up.
Which I reckon many do and it's an honest way of registering some kind of protest.
This attitude hurts the club. It's the beginning of plasticity, hipsterism, gentrification and a deep pollution of the fan culture.
Power should reside with the fan base. You're choosing to give it all up to the suits and money men. If we perceive that we do not have a voice that counts in the running or management or activities of our own club, but still just support support support blindly and without question, we lose an essential piece of our own identity as fans.
