I would have thought we pulled out of the Higuain deal because Arsene didn't think he was worth the trumped up asking price and wasn't inclined to get in a bidding war with Cavani cash Napoli?
At the time that Madrid hiked up the fee a lot of people on here were also saying that Higuain wasn't worth it.

Today at least Fabregas finally told United to p*** off.

I do think we have the squad already, bar at CF, to take us through the fixtures in August and September, but I am worried about the lack of noise. It feels as if everything is on hold until the Suarez thing is resolved, one way or another.

We need a bloody striker signed! Preferably not Suarez...

I look at everything now like transfers results league standing etc from the perspective of which is most likely to lead to Wenger leaving, as this is the single best outcome for the team.

Without additions, even if we do start the league well, I can see their being a lot of empty seats come late September.
