He didn't come off the fence at all. He made some slight criticisms of Wenger and co. Hardly makes him the Biggus of bloggers.

And LCD isn't a section of our fanbase its a way Arseblog deals with most things. He panders. Its like he has little or no opinion of his own (any more). He never says anything interesting or different, he mostly just pulls along with whatever the general sentiment is at a given time.

He has been pretty vocal on twitter and blog comments. I have never seen so many Wengerites get the shits before like after his blog.
Some people are slower to come round the idea than others but it's good that they are finally waking up.

i think we're working on several deals at the moment and the silence isn't necessarily a bad thing. it might mean the selling club has a bit more finesse than liverpool. wenger's last 5-6 years here have been abysmal, but i will remain optimistic until the transfer window ends.

That sums up my thought too, I just cannot believe that we will not add numbers to the squad given the amount of players who have left this summer.

Whatever happens - I think it is fair to say that the transfer window hasn't been handled, once again, in a very convincing way.

Once again it doesn't look as if we have a clear plan on players to pursue, and a priority of those players. Would be interesting to know how the collaboration between Wengie and Gazza works.

Wenger is shit in the transfer market and he hates it, we leave him to it to select the talent but the plan of attack has been an utter cluster fuck of epic proportions.

We are likely again to do most of our business when the season proper has started and have had the same season ticket renewal hangover that afflicts this club like an annual virus. Ivan has put his head out there saying "we have the money, Arsene just needs to find the players" yet we have seen nowt going on and the only thing we have done is get it wrong (seemingly) on a release clause and make ourselves look like wankers by put a single £1 over it.

Arsene seems more demented every summer when you hear him speak of transfer values and he still thinks FFP is going to run in on white horse and make everyone do it his way.

Edelaman was fired for generally getting terrible commercial deals and final nail in the coffin was a commercial deal advertising the state of Israel inside the stadium. Something that our sponsors (emirates) were no happy to have themselves associated with.

ANd no we are still in the property game but sans debt now so they are just making profit on the units and land that is sold.

How many unsold apartments, ball park, do we have, and what land do we still hold? What I am really asking is of course what kind of profit we are looking at.

The Israeli deal may have been a faux pas, but I can't really see how Edelman otherwise got us terrible deals. To raise the money for the stadium was a miracle in itself, and it is my understanding that Edelman was instrumental in that.

It appears that Higuain was our preferred choice but as usual we failed to meet his valuation and missed out. To think that could have been done and dusted weeks ago for way under what Suarez will cost and without all the hassle.

I think, we must have been contacted by the Suarez camp some time in July when they realized that Bayern and Madrid are not bidding for him. (They were keen on those clubs beforehand and Suarez was making noises about them and English media during the confederation cup) Around that time, we were asked for more money by Madrid and we must have shifted targets immediately.

However, all said and done, I agree that the transfer window so far has been horrible. There are so many areas we could have improved in and we have done NOTHING whatsoever. This is shockingly bad.
