I have Capi.
I speculated something similar a couple of weeks ago when we first bid for him and before the Amy Lawerence interview but I thought the split may have between Gazidis and Wenger.
Well whoever the split was between it doesn't take genius to work out that something had happened at board level when Arsenal decided to bid 40m for a player it s pretty apparent to those with common sense to work out.
Biggus you're taking your lead from that Myles Palmer farce of an article?
???If you actually read what I said you'll find that I speculated two weeks ago that something had happened at board level before the Amy Lawerence interview, the first time I saw the Myles Palmer column was when Ricky posted it just now.
A number of people have arrived at this conclusion independently so there must be something in it.

We know something has happened - Gazidis said at the very beginning of the summer that Wenger would have new tools at his disposal, that we were entering a new phase.
You refused to believe that at the time, now that you've been proved wrong and we have bid big you're atrributing this to a split in the board and Wenger being forced to spend.
No Y va I'm being proved right, so far we haven't spent (the famous) pound- While you and others believed we would sign Higuain I maintained Wenger would be too tight to close out the deal and so it proved, and it'll be the same with Suarez.

Wheras last week you were saying the Suarez bid was proof that Wenger was mad and desperate.
He is insane he keeps using the same methods and he keeps failing.
I have constantly maintained that I refused to believe it was Wengers idea to sign Suarez- But he is the manager every decision is attached to him.

All of that is fair enough if that's how you view it but it's not in any way obvious or clear that what you believe is actually true.
😆 You must be the first person to actually say it's not clear what I believe.
This "Suarez incident" has flummoxed us all, the normal pro/anti-Wenger stances don't apply, it is so out of character and unusual that you have people like Rex and I agreeing and people who are normally pragmatic and anti-Wenger welcoming the move.
Happily I think Wenger will prevail I don't think we will sign the racist, we'll stumble through another ground hog season where it will go to the wire again so back to normal then.
I hope this episode will leave a fatal chink in his armour, but I thought that after Fabregas the 8-2 and Van Persie episodes- What the hell will it take for fans to wise up rise up and toss this tosser out........🙁
