Agree we need change at the top. Gaizidis and Wenger should both be sacked. Neither are doing well at their job.
you know the saying a country deserves the leadership it deserves? That's because you get what you fight for, leaders are a reflection of the values/aspirations of the people to put it another way a member of the public in a leadership position.
I'm at a point now where I feel we are getting what we deserve as fans, I mean fans as a collective including myself because I am part of that subset. Every hierachy at the club is not geared towards success but excuse making, skirting around the issue, preserving Favorites and looking for convenient scapegoats.
Reading most of the comments pre/during and after the match,
1) I hear people criticism Giroud for not scoring but very little is mentioned about Theo who was on the pitch for 90 minutes without a shot on goal, 70 as a striker. Giroud came on and within a few minutes had a shot on goal. Theo is not a striker never will be, his only contribution came when he reverted to his role. We are so obsessed with Theo and his stats which have come largely from the wing.
Bayern effing Munich and you go gung ho with a disorganised defense and an unproven striker, yet you leave your most defensive minded midfielder out, who do we think we are Barcelona? knowing full well you can't afford to conceede away goals isn't it obvious what the problem was? Sagna has always been crap going forward, his crosses are even more shit than they use to be , he always has to dress the ball because he cannot pass in a direction he isn't facing. My point is we didn't play to our strentghs against a team like Bayern. Instead we scapegoat players, what was the tactical thought behind the setup? Should the setup not be to contain and hope to get something in Munich when they will have to come out and score. Managerial naivety from a man that has no hounours in Europe not individual players. You cannot succeed in Europe without having either the best players or a solid strategy, we know the players are not the best individually so let's stop blaming individuals, TV, Sagna, Theo, carzola, or whoever it is anyone has identified in their own analysis as a weak link tonight and examine what was the strategy? That the fans can"t see that and instead blame individual players for a match we really had little chance of winning means we are just a s culpable, no one has tabled strategy or tactics tonight. Again I say this we couldn't overwhelm Baradford or Blackburn, did we think we could rely on players alone to overwhelm Bayern?
I know that fans are supposed to have hope but at the same time the genuine sense of optimism tell me we are far removed from reality, the exact things we accuse Wenger and The board of. If we can't see it how do we expect Wenger and the board to, how is our mindset any different from Wenger's?
