No matter his stunts Suarez as a footballer has been a success at Liverpool. Liverpool paid 24m for him. If someone thinks that he is going for anything less than a size-able profit on that 24m then that person is deluded. If someone thinks here that we are going to pay a realistic value say 35m plus then that's just not going to happen.

Suarez wants out though, he's made that very clear. Liverpool aren't in a strong position with him. And he's Suarez, he's a nightmare to deal with when he is happy, imagine what he'd be like if Pool forced him to stay.

Suarez wanted to leave last season as well.

The only reason that £30m isn't a stupid offer for this guy is that he's damaged goods. And frankly, I see absolutely no reason to think Wenger can fix him.

So now they'll be even less likely to keep him.

Suarez signed a new deal recently as well and we aren't a club he would try to force through a move/ go on strike for. Maybe madrid not us.

Or maybe they'll find it easier?

Nobody's going to pay them decent money for a mentally retarded racist who's banned for the first third of the season, no matter how good he is.

Look if this bid is true then it's also true that it's been instantly rejected. If 30m is rejected instantly they aren't just going to accept or negotiate for 1-2m more. Does anyone believe that the club would pay 35m at the least for Suarez? Yes or No

Enquiries for Rooney and Suarez, Bale next?

wtf?!?! I log on to see this link. Liking the ambition but not the target

If Suarez really wants a move he will just sit on the physio bench and say his hamstring hurts hes not fit to train or play and he wants to leave. This is what players of his caliber do to force transfers without being docked wages. So if he does behave like this they would happily accept 31M because they have no choice.

Players do a lot of things to get transfers but the above situation is highly unlikely.

I could see him forcing through a move to Madrid but to us. No chance. What would we offer him that other suitors couldn't. More chances of trophies? No. More money? No. Why would he be that desperate to sign for us that he would want to go on strike? If he was going for 31m Madrid, Chelsea, Monaco etc. would have snapped him up weeks ago.

If other suitable suitors don't materialise, then he may be willing to force a move to Arsenal. If he wants out of Liverpool and him and his agent want to make a bit of money, then why not?

So on top of his already extensive list of crimes, we want him to go on strike to force a move too?

Happens all the time I know for a fact its happened with some ex arsenal players at other clubs. The players have there own interest at heart and will force a move like this as they know theirs little anyone can really do. Its impossible to prove that someone isn't feeling pain.

I don't believe for a second that Arsenal Football Club has any interest in Suarez whatsoever. I am well happy with that as well.

Does anyone remember that time he bit Ivanovic? 😆

I'm one of the few who doesn't really care about Suarez's character and would take him in an instant, however this will never happen.

Whatever the motive though, I do like that we can just roll in with a £30m bid.

Anyway, all these flexing of muscles wouldn't matter if we start the season with Sanogo and Giroud as our only striking options. We need to seal some deals, instead of testing water for every player and then pull out when they ask for abit more.

The players we have are good enough to keep us competitive until the transfer window closes.

Only if you base your assessment on the last 10 games and ignore absolutely everything else about last season.
