The lack of prem players is really quite damning.

Not a hope of an arsenal player getting in either 🙁 (Maybe Kos, but it's probably a bit premature)

My team would make all of yous my bitches.

Falcao - Van Persie
Bale - Schweinsteiger - Martinez - Iniesta
Alba - Chiellini - Silva - Lahm
Neuer

Would have to be fluid too of course, with Bale supporting the front two, and Iniesta drifting centrally to make it a midfield three. Lahm would bomb up the right wing, with the defenders shifting across to make it a back three, and Martinez sitting in front to offer extra protection :o

-----------------------Hart
Lahm--Ferdinand--Koscielny--Alaba
----------Toure--Schweinstieger
---Bale-----------Fabregas-------Inesta
--------------------van Persie

The game is sorely lacking in big time players and personalities.

Thiago Silva (despite what I said about him the other day, he's a good player) and Ibrahimovic probably deserve to be in there on quality alone, but they've sold out and gone to a shit league in France where they can stroll for 35 games a season - they don't deserve to be considered anymore.

We all know you don't want Ibrahimovic since he put 4 past Engurland Ricks...

No chance! Only way I'll even slightly care how England do is if half their starting line up are Arsenal players.

Zlatan's brilliant, better than van Persie, but he's done at the top level. You can't call yourself a top player if you play in France.

He's physically superior to any player in the world that I can think of. He can probably play for years to come. It's just a question about motivation.

I think Ronaldo's is better. Incredibly strong. Even though Zlatan is stronger, Ronaldo is much, much faster.

Zlatan is an out and out beast.

I think bale may be approaching that level physically though

Neuer

Lahm - Kompany - Silva - Alba

Yaya Toure - Busquets

Bale - Fabregas - Ribery

Ibrahimovic

Subs: Buffon; Chiellini, Marcelo; Schweinsteiger, Iniesta, Goetze; van Persie

Robben is being criminally overlooked by most of you guys, imo!

Robben didn't even start regularly for Bayern this season. Now Müller on the other hand... The best player in the best team in Europe and no one except for Capi has even given him a shout. For shame.

Not that I've watched tons of him, but I find Muller hard to watch. Such a clumsy, awkward player, even if he is effective.

I didn't mention Muller as Capi already did but noted that Bayern always played Robben in their most important matches and he was usually their most dangerous looking player regularly attracting 2 or even 3 defenders just to stifle him. This allowed others in the team more space and he still had more productivity than Ribery.
I am not a Bayern fan so do not watch many of their matches but i know Robben has been injury prone since his days at Chelski so could they have been trying to protect the guy?

Nah, he was clearly benched. It started with an injury and Müller moved out to provide cover. Robben never got his spot back after that. Ribery was tearing it up on the other flank too. Him and Müller were arguably the two best players in Bundesliga so Robben didn't have it easy to be fair, but he was outclassed. No two ways about it.

I think it depends on where he plays. Two years ago I would have agreed but there was literally nothing awkward or clumsy about him this season. Sheer class. He's only 23 too. Reckon there's still a lot of development left in him.

I know Pirlo is 34 but I would just love to have him in my team.

Pirlo is pure class, but I think he would struggle with the pace of the PL.

Could see some no mark ending his career.

I've always shouted for him. Brilliant player
