Biggus, we were top after 19 games and beyond. You can't cry 'fixture list' when we have played everyone once or more.

Chelsea lose again today and hand Liverpool the title on a platter. I feel really, really bitter about this. Liverpool, of all the lucky flukes in the world! We should have been up there, but for a clueless, stuck-in-the-mud manager. What a dramatic bottle job from the "great" "Special One" - losing his unbeaten home record to Sunderland, with a Liverpool loanee scoring the winner. We are well and truly done as a big club, fighting for consolation prizes, never really playing at the big boys' table. Sorry for the rant.

I think it's fair to be frustrated, Wenger had it in his grasp and chose to stick his head in the sand. Laughably enough, we've done pretty well to get this far with Giroud as our first choice, something we should have sorted out last summer.

We need a better first choice striker, another good winger and a DM if we want to feel confident about a league challenge.

Haha. In essence I still agree with that sentiment, I guess I'm just coming to terms with the reality that he'll still be in the hot seat for three more years.

Super Sunday in the battle for fourth. We win and Everton lose and I think fourth is basically secured. Absolute must win, but not only to get the prize, but to psychologically defeat Hull before the Cup final.

We're on 70 points now. Week gaps between games, Ramsey in fine form, Ozil with 60 minutes under his belt. Two home games against Newcastle and West Brom and then Norwich away. Should be able to close out these out to finish 79 points, secure CL football and an FA Cup. Missed opportunity, sure. But it doesn't sound horrific does it?

I honestly don't see any great shame in losing out on the title to a team that's going to set the all-time PL scoring record.

Let's not sugar coat it. We had a great chance to win the title this season and we fucked it up.

Even with this squad, all we had to do was to turn up in the big games. Had we done that, we'd be still within a chance now...

I don't focus on Liverpool too much - they look set to win 13 or 14 out of 14 so whatcha gonna do. But there is shame in getting battered when we go to visit any good team away from home.

People are more concerned that Wenger isn't likely to build on this season or leave the squad in a position where we have 'enough'. There's always one or two positions short. But whether this season could be considered as a success in itself...as I say, close out the FA Cup and get 4th, it's our best since 2005 on paper.

Actually we didn't even need to turn up in the big games, just 2 routine wins against United and don't concede that OG against Swansea the other week would bring us to 77 points, 3 away from Liverpool.

Just saw the stat, 18 out of 19 teams have created a record against United this season. No prizes for guessing the last team.
