I like that he gives us options but I see him replacing Arteta in the next season (should he come).
Marouane Fellaini
Aye. Perhaps use him as bayern use Martinez
I think Moyes deserves credit with regards to Fellaini. He really knew how to maximise his talents when he needed to. Should be interesting to see how Wenger uses him
I so hope we sign him
I'll be ecstatic if we sign Fellaini AND Higuain. I've been going on about both players for the last two years, so I'd have nothing but love for Wenger and Law if they pulled it off.

I think thats definitely the role he'd play. With the option of playing him deeper or behind the striker, depending on the situation.
I'd probably prefer an AM tbh but apart from Isco and Thiago then i don't see one out there who has as much quality as Fellaini. I think we might see Jack moved to 10 if Fellaini is the guy we go for.
Could imagine him being played in various set-ups by Wenger.
His versatility is key.
Think Fellaini would mostly take Ramsey's role tbh.
Arteta and Ramsey would rotate for the deeper role I think.
Jack would rotate with Fellaini for the B2B role, and Rooney for the AMC role of course 8)
I'd just line it up as
------------- Higuain ---------------
Cazorla - Wilshere - Fellaini - Walcott
------------- Arteta ---------------
Wilshere and Fellaini would be able to decide who goes forward and who stays back. Arteta would mainly stay back. You can arrange the players above as you will, with the same basic result on the pitch.

Same sentiments, wouldn't mind signing him to play like Martinez, but isn't really warm about spending almost 25m for him. 18m would get us Thiago already, 30m can get us Isco. Whether they would join us is a totally different matter though.

thiago is on his way to man u. isco is deciding between city and real madrid. what on earth makes you think either of them would join us?
fellaini is a great player, has premiership experience and is realistic/available. would love it if we sign him.
Read his last sentence there Kel.

i did and it's pretty much guaranteed pointless. they wouldn't join us.
Fellaini the master :
We should be going all out for Bender.
goal.com is having a laugh saying we've offered to pay him less than he's currently earning.
I know we're notrious lowballers but that's just dumb
We did the same to Arteta...
Totally different circumstances.
Yeah, I wouldn't expect Fellaini to take a pay cut either.
AFCAMDEN is saying Arteta and Fellaini are vacationing together is Marbella. Done deal!

He's been fooled by this pic
That's exactly what i thought when he said it
The actual source for the Marbella story seems to be this
Sky are saying we're privately confident of landing Fellaini - whatever that means.
Delaine + Higuain would be great.
Delaine and tata samphire ftw!!!
Haha, my autocorrect strikes again. It's almost like being liked to even more players (and ones that sound more likely).

i have no idea what that means.
It means we have decided the lowball figure for a bid.
I really hope we're not getting Fellaini.
Can't figure out where he'd fit in either. Is he even a better option in central midfield than Ramsey? Why would anyone move Cazorla to accomodate him further up? He's a good player but he strikes me more as a luxury buy of the kind United or City could do with.
Cazorla plays on the left for us(or that's his starting position at least), so he won't be affected by Fellaini joining the team. If Fellaini joins Arsenal, it will be as a CM, either sitting or box to box. But it definetely won't be as an attacking midfielder or a striker in my opinion.
Will he still play on the left when Podolski is fully fit, though?
If we signed Rooney and Fellaini I'm not sure our strongest 11 would include Podolski, as much as I like him.
Podolski is the biggest mystery in the squad right now. I don't think Wenger is ready to completely give up on him. At the same time I just can't see a role for Poldi in the starting XI unless there are injuries. I think Wenger loves Santi on the left and he'll continue to play him there so I think we'll see Poldi on the bench as an impact player.
Biggest mystery for me is Wilshere who hasn't nailed down a role in the team.
Fellaini would 100% take Ramsey's spot, with a view of phasing out Mikel eventually (probably for Aaron).
