Judging by the ground he covers and the amount of bookings he gets, he's one of the most aggressive players in the league.

He won't leave this Summer, we should get him next year as an Arteta replacement.
I think not. Not good enough defensively since he lacks physically. That is the thing really. At Dortmund they have Bender or Kehl as the most defensive midfielder. Gundogan is an all action mid, and a good one at that. However, I'd rather have Ramsey, and hopefully Wilshere in the near future, in our team for that role.
If we are after a Dortmund mid I'd so much more want Bender.
Because Gundogan is so much better than Ramsey and Wilshere for that role currently.

Agreed.
Well, both Ramsey and Wilshere will be here for the long term, and taking their age into account they are both likely to improve. On the other hand, we don't really have anyone who can do what Arteta does. That is where our money should go as far as midfield is concerned.
Fwiw, I don't think Gundogan is better than Ramsey defensively or Wilshere offensively. A bit more rounded, but that will come for our young lads.
Fellaini and Arteta or Sandro and Dembele?
That is actually Arteta
I see he went for a dip further back, hence the water is darker
Hair still perfect.
Probably doesn't even get wet.

Has this story been mentioned in the guardian yet? What's the standard's record like?
a higuain+fellaini transfer window would be great. the balance of the team would be much better.
We'd be pretty formidable at set pieces with him around
We'd be like "ooooh look at all that lovely footwork neymar" then doooooooosh, kos lumps one forward for fellaini to butt in
Common get it done. Up his wages. London weighting and all that
Do it.
Where would you play him caps?
I like that he gives us options but I see him replacing Arteta in the next season (should he come).
Aye. Perhaps use him as bayern use Martinez
I think Moyes deserves credit with regards to Fellaini. He really knew how to maximise his talents when he needed to. Should be interesting to see how Wenger uses him
I so hope we sign him
I'll be ecstatic if we sign Fellaini AND Higuain. I've been going on about both players for the last two years, so I'd have nothing but love for Wenger and Law if they pulled it off.

I think thats definitely the role he'd play. With the option of playing him deeper or behind the striker, depending on the situation.
I'd probably prefer an AM tbh but apart from Isco and Thiago then i don't see one out there who has as much quality as Fellaini. I think we might see Jack moved to 10 if Fellaini is the guy we go for.
Could imagine him being played in various set-ups by Wenger.
His versatility is key.
Think Fellaini would mostly take Ramsey's role tbh.
Arteta and Ramsey would rotate for the deeper role I think.
Jack would rotate with Fellaini for the B2B role, and Rooney for the AMC role of course 8)
I'd just line it up as
------------- Higuain ---------------
Cazorla - Wilshere - Fellaini - Walcott
------------- Arteta ---------------
Wilshere and Fellaini would be able to decide who goes forward and who stays back. Arteta would mainly stay back. You can arrange the players above as you will, with the same basic result on the pitch.

Same sentiments, wouldn't mind signing him to play like Martinez, but isn't really warm about spending almost 25m for him. 18m would get us Thiago already, 30m can get us Isco. Whether they would join us is a totally different matter though.

thiago is on his way to man u. isco is deciding between city and real madrid. what on earth makes you think either of them would join us?
fellaini is a great player, has premiership experience and is realistic/available. would love it if we sign him.
Read his last sentence there Kel.

i did and it's pretty much guaranteed pointless. they wouldn't join us.
Fellaini the master :
We should be going all out for Bender.
goal.com is having a laugh saying we've offered to pay him less than he's currently earning.
I know we're notrious lowballers but that's just dumb
We did the same to Arteta...
Totally different circumstances.
