Thread for what will likely be a fairly major influx of youngsters this season, to replace the many who were cut free by the club this summer.
In other words, we're looking for the new Craig Eastmond.
So Sanogo, Mitrovic, Crowley... Stick 'em here!
Mod edit: spoilers ... FFS Biggulus ...
Fucking hell Burnsy you're out of control with that bloody edit button, Capi has already posted the exact same scene in the GoT thread! How long do want to keep the big secret? Its all over the web.
Fucking ridiculous.
What was it
I have no clue what will happen in GoT S03E09 and i appreciate if spoilers will be kept in the spoilers thread atleast until season has finished.
I've not seen that episode either.
GoT is shit, apart from the boobies.
Books are decent though.
Anyway, have we actually signed any of these youngsters? Crowley? Anything official yet?

There have been complaints about GoT spoilers. Who really gives a shit about it? Not me - but someone.
Just stop posting links, jokes and other spoilers for what's effectively the biggest twist in the world's most popular TV series ... they will be deleted.
It isn't hard - and it's nothing personal.
Obviously nothing on dotcom yet, but Crowley has signed and probably Sanogo aswell according to reports. Doubt we see anything official before July 1st.
Isn't the window already open?
Edit: Yes it is - so what's the significance of July 1st?
When does the transfer window open? Players can not officially put pen to paper until July 1 but the Premier League allows business to be conducted once their season finishes and clubs can announce signings throughout June. Free agents can also sign for new employers once their contracts expire.

And I notice you haven't deleted that.

According to this, the window opens on the last day of the season:

Well i honestly dont know the specifics of "business being conducted" and "can not officially put pen to paper" but knowing our club we will announce them on July 1st then.

In the thread clearly marked as a spoiler...
Anyway, Mitrovic has said there has been contact with Arsenal, but no agreement.
AFAIK you can sign a player any time, as in agree a deal. You just can't register them as a player for the next season until July 1st. So if you had a training camp or something in June they could still join up with the squad, etc.
That's pretty much what the link I posted said, apart from the fact that it seems to suggest that you can confirm a signing with the PL from the end of the season onwards.
Just noticed I was posting in the wrong thread so from the summer window rumours thread:

Their owner is all about money and they think if a good bid comes in he won't hesitate to sell (que Biggus comparing them to us). Anyway he has potential to be a great target man, called up to national team for upcoming qualifiers and their NT coach said he is the best forward in the country already (high praise indeed). He certainly is in the same talent bracket as Nastasic, Ljajic, Jovetic etc. produced by Partizan in recent years. The journo reporting is pretty reliable, reporter for CNN Italy and Gazzetta dello Sport. The player himself tweeted that the deal is not done yet, but there was contact from us, deleted his twitter account soon afterwards.

Their owned came out with a statement that he is not for sale at any price, but that seems to be a trend rather than a meaningful response nowadays. Porto are rumored to be after the player as well with a bid of 6mil euros being mentioned, so if we do sign him our scouts must be pretty confident of him making it here as he will be relatively expensive for his age.
