£6m or so for a hotly tipped youngster would seem to be our MO these days.
Whilst I'm making a conscious decision to ignore any hype around any youngster until they get into the 1st XI frame in meaningful competition, it does sound like Mitrovic is the most advanced of the youngsters we've been linked with so far this summer.
He would be a good signing. By all account he seems like a huge talent.
If he lives up to his billing like the other Serbian stars 6m is nothing. 18 year old and he is already built like a tank
Looks about as slow as a tank as well in the short video I just saw.
What is Arsene's recent fascination with big, lumbering target men for centre forwards?
His ideas seem to have changed a lot in the last 10 years, and I don't like it.
Yeah I find it hard to get excited by strikers that lack pace.
Funny how every video of him in youtube have a fight in the comments section. The Partizan fans are really not happy with him leaving
Mirror headline
Arsenal eye move for Freiburg midfielder Matthias Ginter.. who is 19. And valued at £5m
Tracking him for months apparently, and we have "spoken to Freiburg about doing a deal for the 6ft 1in German" Arsenes's going mad for height this summer then

So we should be able to afford about 10 signings this summer! Woo hoo!

he's lost the plot. it's easy, just go back to what made us successful. i can't figure out what he's trying to do anymore, it all just seems improvised.

Guys like Vieira & Henry made us successful, and getting players like that isn't easy.
You've answered your own question there really; it's all improvised. There is no masterplan for us or for most clubs; we take what we can when we can.

Mirror links us to 19 year old from Freiburg. How good is he, guys?
Tall and good in the air from what I hear. No idea if he's any good.
Ginter’s physique and robust defensive mode complements an adept change of pace, reading of the game and suiting the higher defensive line.
:hat:

Better than Eisfeld.
Shit, that puts him two full tiers above Götze.
Fabien or Felix? As The Mario ship is long gone

Have to say I don't mind him buying young french players around that age, with first team experience. The success rate is bound to be higher.
Signed jamaal raage apparently
One of you swedes tell us more about him please?
