He is. He only got 2 stuff wrong IIRC (RVP and Arteta). People keep saying he got RVP wrong but a quick read of his timeline says otherwise.

Arteta chose to join last minute as well after we missed out on several targets.

Arteta said no to our salary (iirc), then came back at the last minute to accept. Something like that anyway, so yeah, it was "off" for a while.
