Rooney is the player im most conflicted about. He is a cunt AND there are questions over his fitness and motivation. If it was Bale we were linked with for example i wouldnt have any doubt even though he is a horrible chimp.

I think only a small minority of fans would see signing Rooney as tarnishing our image.
In fact I reckon a majority might even be inclined to think it good for our image.
I think he's a bit of a knacker myself but he's not on a par with the likes of Terry and Suarez

Rooney isn't insane like Suarez or Balotelli though. He won't hurt you on the pitch like those guys. But yes I would take Suarez over Rooney. More of a dynamic player. Both are world class. Rooney is England's best player! Him at ST or in CF behind Giroud would be amazing.

Oh, he'd definitely come as third choice. But realistically if we buy at centre half this summer it's because Vermaelen is dodgy as fuck, and we want better competition and cover. Still loads of games to go round.

Well he's got a better reputation in European football than Wenger who has won nothing- Let me just repeat that- Who has won absolutely fuck all in European competition ever.
And he has managed more top clubs too because he's not afraid of a challenge instead of staying in his own little comfort zone.

I would have loved to have such an accomplished manager guide us to glory like he has with so many other teams but he is not really a good match for the criminals who have our club in their clutches and wouldn't fit in here with their philosophy of screwing the fans for every penny whilst fielding the likes of Gervinho.

But managers are attracted to players that they believe are in tune with their methods and philosophy about how they want the game to be played and I can't imagine Rooney would fit into Wengers plans very well.

Maureen has been poison to the clubs he has managed. Won trophies, yes, but ultimately left the club in a worse state than when he came.

Even if one were to ignore that and assume he has not had any negative impact on the image of a club, fact remains he did resort to using unacceptable language towards Arsene and even Arsenal on occasions during his time here with Chelsea. Rooney has dived and been petulant but so many other players do that. Why accept one and reject the other when actually the player's act is far more tolerable.
