What 'level' are we saying Lewandowski is at then? Compared to Higuian for example? Go back a year, or say, the night before he scored 4 against Madrid, and the majority on here seemed to be fairly luke warm towards him.
His quality has been obvious for well over a year now i'd say.
Of course it has, but I'm just questioning the discrepancy between what a lot of people were saying about him a few months ago on this forum and what people say now. Pre Madrid the view of him as a potential transfer target generally put him in to the bracket most put Higuian in to now: good, but not great player, would improve us, best we can get cos Falcao, Cavani won't come etc. Now he's apparently 'tier 1', whatever that ridiculous phrase is supposed to mean.
