Liverpool are nowhere near our level of quality, regardless of how strongly they finished the season. Over 38 games our current squad will always beat out Liverpool's current squad. Name the Liverpool players you would bring into our first 11. Try that same game with the likes of Citeh, Chelsea or United and you get very different results.
Get jiggy with the Higgy?

Yes Higuain was in today. Complained about having to pay £3.90 for a San Miguel & asked what parking is like on a match day. #exclusive
I'm guessing that was Barry Higuain.
Reportedly Madrid are refusing to negotiate on this guy until their new manager is settled. Told ya.
Pfft, this is a club that openly courts managers while the old manager is still on the hot seat, and fires managers that have just won multiple trophies. And now people think they'll be courteous to the new guy? Of course I'm just hoping here.
They will sell Higuain as soon as someone bids the amount that they are looking for.
Aw dang, Capi—give me my little triumphs. You can't pick 'em all.

That's the nature of the serial monogamist—always courteous to the new date, keeping the front door ajar as his butler ejects the old squeeze out the back.

Okay.
Where the incorrigible proposition meets the unfalsifiable hypothesis—there, the football transfer rumour is born.
Yet they've signed casemiro without a manager

He's a 6m odd job man. We're talking Gonzo Higwayne here.

Fixed.
No one has bid anything. Juve are skint and AFC are not gonna pay 20 mill pounds for him. Its gonna drag a while and he is gonna leave for whatever club that bids for him for 10-15 million.
I think Madrid's most recent musings imply that somebody bid already. Perhaps I'm being generous.
He'll be a throw-in on the Bale deal.

Hadn't thought of that, very possible actually.

They wish. They have been asked his price and typically they have quoted 20+ mill. Rest is papertalk/drumming up interest.
Well alright then, good job you have the inside track.

The trouble with that might be Higuain's reluctance to go to a non CL club. Offcourse if Madrid discount him and that makes it easier for Spurs to pay him more then it may work.
TBH unless the russians or the Sheikhs intervene we pretty much have an easy run at him. We can pay 15-20 mill and easily afford to pay more than Juve.
