There are some silly people in this world. Was listening to 606 football phone-in. Some guy was trying to argue that Ashley Cole is better than Wayne Rooney just because he was the only English player picked by coaches for some European 11 in a magazine. The chap obviously believes that the pool of European-based left backs is every bit as good as that of strikers.

Cole is a better player than Rooney in my opinion. Or was, up until a year ago. Doesn't mean he has more impact on games though.

I think Rooney would do a better job at LB than Cole would as a CF. Don´t know whether that is relevant or not, but whatever.

City have the ability to destroy most teams, they have an awesome strikeforce.
I know it's relatively early in the season but it looks as if it's their's to throw away now.
Think Chelsea might ultimately be the best equipped to challenge them.
Hard to know though.
