Obviously Mancini deserves some credit for putting the right selection of players together.

What happened to Mark Hughes?

Mourinho took quicker to win silverware but even he couldn't win the CL with all that money so it takes more than money.

Obviously if we won the league in the financial position we're in compared to City Wenger would get far more credit but it takes more than money.

😆 Although I didn't actually see it myself, they had to pick what I read was the most boring game of the day.

When they start applying that technology to table football games, I can see Dules using his magic fingers to administer thrashings in games on the interweb.

Man City and Chelsea make me sick.

This may sound like bullshit and a bit of an excuse.

But if it wasn't for those two thundercunts (especially Chelsea from 2005-2010) it would have been just us and Utd competing for the title, with the occasional Scouse challenge.

Abramovich came in and fucked the league up with his millions and now Man City are doing the same making it harder for us to compete.

I miss the days when man city were finishing 15th in the league and Chelsea were shit

I guess I meant getting them to play good, effective, winning football together or gelling as you put it. I had my reservations about his ability to do that earlier.

Of course final judgement can only be rendered at season's end, after we see where they end up, but on current form, I wouldn't bet against them winning the league this season.

Oh but you do need to give him credit for a lot of his signings, and being able to 'sell the dream'. I know it mainly involves sticking a truckload of cash in the players faces, but he has definitely been more successful at it than Mark Hughes for example. Also he hasn't really wasted money like Benitez or Keegan did at Pool with the Aquilani's and Andy Carroll's of this world. And he's obviously not a bad man manager either seeing as now he's even getting hugs from Balotelli! Who'd have thunk that.

Alex Ferguson's been doing that for years. It's not keeping the creativity in the team he needs to get right, it's the winning when he takes it out.

Toon should have won though. They really have a good team this season. Credit all to Pardew for proving everyone wrong.

I really like Tiote and Cabaye. Parker had a really excellent game too. He and Ade is bringing spuds to another level
